Happy July! 
It's nearing the peak season of summer, and we've gotten lots of requests for tips on creating a fit and healthy body. So, for this month's HEALTHIER TOGETHER topic, we will be focusing on 
Mindful EatingEat Up - Shape Up. 

Did you know that un-
mindful eating is the primary cause of overeating, which is the #1 reason for weight gain? Through this month's HEALTHIER TOGETHER workshop, we will teach you ways to eat mindfully to prevent overeating, which will help you shed unwanted weight the healthy and natural way without dieting. Please join us with your friends and family! Non-members are welcomed as this workshop is free and open to the public. 

The Copperfield Body & Brain Yoga Center will be hosting its HEALTHIER TOGETHER workshop on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 10:30 am.  The event is free, but please RSVP to us at 832-237-9642 beforehand so we can provide enough room for everyone.

    Healing Chakra Workshop with Master ChungHae Sunsanim (Day 1)

    Venue : Body & Brain yoga nomal Center
    "Chakra" is a Sanskrit word meaning "wheel" or "circle" and refers to the energy centers in our physical body. Spiritual energy and physical functions integrate in our body's seven chakras. Each chakra is connected to the endocrine system in the physical body. When a chakra is stimulated, the endocrine system secretes hormones. This creates a chemical reaction and triggers a change in the consciousness. When the seven chakras open and become complete, natural healing power increases to its maximum and consciousness returns to its equilibrium state. Purpose of the training: 1. Open the seven energy centers, healing both body and mind. 2. Connect the human body and its energy with Earth's energy. 3. Renew our body, mind, and spirit by developing and completing the seven chakras, helping restore ourselves and the Earth.

For anyone who truly wants to make a change, this program is crucial for uncovering exactly where you are and setting the intention for where you want to go. Through the Finding Your True Self workshop, you will have the opportunity to actually connect with your True Self, the "real you", underneath all the layers of habits, judgements, emotions, and memories that we have mistakenly identified as who we really are. Through this workshop, you will develop a deeper understanding of yourself and the people closest to you so that you can regain self-confidence, eliminate negative patterns, and achieve more harmonious relationships.

This class focuses on exercising your intestines, to encourage increased blood and energy circulation and improved elimination of waste and toxins from the body.
Meridian Stretching08:30-09:30Meridian Stretching:Deep stretching, twisting, and joint rotation exercises to improve circulation and alignment. These exercises stimulate the body’s energy pathways, called meridians.
