My experience with the Body & Brain classes
Louise, Woodinville center, WA
Oh my goodness I don't even know where to start! I went into the studio after a friend accidentally left a brochure at my house thinking "Well, looks interesting but this probably won't work for me. I like to work up a sweat!" Plus, I wasn't really a big believer in what yoga practice could offer me; I had tried it at my gym and was simply bored. WOW. I have been working out for at least 15 years and am in great physical shape. However, the classes offer really core intensive moves that are very challenging. The studio offers much more than the physical aspect; this is what I have fallen in love with. The mental improvement I have felt in just a few weeks is life changing. It sounds so extreme but this has really been the case for me! I have learned to chill out, relax, breathe (I think I've gone thru 40 years of life with the most shallow breath,) and just truly engage in an internal peace during my very busy life. I am so grateful for finding this place. I feel like I am helping to keep my mind and body happy and healthy in a way that I look forward to doing for a very long time to come. I am very grateful to the instructors, Carol and Emily for creating such a positive and welcoming environment. Also the practitioners are very friendly which is always helpful when starting something new.
