When we understand what might be blocking the chakras, it may shed some light on why parts of our lives are running smoothly, and others seem to constantly snag. Knowing about your chakra system is a tool to help you step into your fullest potential. If you can dispassionately identify your blocks, you can also notice where others may have blocks. It might explain why a person is choosing a particular set of actions or behaviors and we can expand our compassion when we understand where other people are coming from.
When your chakras are healthy and clear, your life flows smoothly. When any one of them is sluggish, shut down or its vibration is weak it can show up as a physical or mental feeling affecting your outlook. For example, imbalanced third chakra energy is said to relate to low self-esteem and stomach discomfort, and an imbalanced fourth chakra is associated with difficulties connecting to others and with weak heart energy.
The health of the chakras is influenced by the energies that surround us and the energies projected from our own belief systems, thoughts and feelings. This energy is recorded and stored in our consciousness affecting how we feel and experience life. It takes courage to face what may have caused an imbalance, and accordingly, our course will involve an element of emotional processing. Being able to accept whatever you feel with compassion towards yourself.
Fortunately, there are many things we can do to rebalance and stimulate your chakras' vibrational flow. Throughout this course, we will understand the nature and quality of each chakra and have time to reflect on how they may have become imbalanced. The course will focus on one chakra each week and through lectures, simple exercises, and meditations, give us the opportunity to strengthen the chakra system and bring our lives back into harmonious and healthy flow. The more aware you are about the state of your chakras, the more knowledge you have in how to keep your chakra system functioning properly and, the happier and healthier you will be.
