My practice through Dahn Yoga has brought so much peace into my mind and body. I have learned how to focus on my breathing and use this focus as a tool to calm my thoughts and emotions. Before, I would follow my emotions and ride a daily roller coaster of up and down and all around--it was exhausting!
As I learned to focus my mind through breathing and then find my center in my body, I became more centered and calm in my daily life. I felt my emotions, but I gradually became anchored in peace. I have more energy and am not so tired all of the time. I can make better choices, instead of acting on the emotion of the moment. I am so grateful for what I have learned through this practice. I just have to keep choosing to use it so that I can keep growing!
