Welcome to Wilshire BODY & BRAIN Yoga - Tai Chi (Koreatown in Los Angeles)

Established in Korea in 1985.

Also Body & Brain Wilshire has been in its location for over 19 Years.

It is located central to LA, the West LA and Downtown Cities

The heart of its community is found in the caring staff and the many happy faces of its long- term members as well as the consistently growing and committed people who thrive to help and support each other in the process and training towards a more healthy, happy and peaceful lifestyle.

The Wilshire Center has a warm and inviting atmosphere, which makes it easy to feel welcome and comfortable to practice Yoga & TaiChi at any level.

WHAT WE OFFER
Different flavors across the week

Here are the general class descriptions.

Every class involves stretching, joint exercises, vibration exercises, and breathing.  

Mondays we focus more on abdominal exercises (intestine exercise).  Great for making a healthy core, good circulation, good digestion, and peaceful brain.

Tuesdays and Thursday is Taichi/Qigong.

Wednesday are more of a regular class that has some more energy meditation.

Friday is a dynamic vibration meditation class.

Saturday is another regular class.

No matter how much we explain these classes, you must experience it for yourself to actually know what we do.  If you come with an open mind, you will have a great experience. 

Body & Brain Yoga (All levels) ( BBY )

Body & Brain Yoga's regular classes are great for all levels and ages! Each class has effective and dynamic components of stretching, breathing, and meditation to destress, strengthen, and relax the mind and body. You will definitely feel refreshed and energized even after just one fun session guided by our experienced instructors!

 

Core Strengthening ( COR )

Core Strengthening class emphasizes our inner abdominal muscles related to supporting the flexibility and strength of our organs, hips, the breathing diaphragm, and back. In this class, we combine Belly Button Healing, Intestinal (Abdominal) Exercises with Meridian Stretches and Core Energy Breathing postures to increase circulation to help strengthen our immune system and improve our gut health. This class includes deep stretching, core breathing, relaxation and meditation for chakra health and balance.

Energy Movement ( VIB )

With rhythmic energy movement, this class creates vibrations in the body to rebalance the energy of the brain. This class will include Dahn Mu (moving energy meditation), tapping, vibration, dancing, breathing, and meditation. Through rhythm and sound, you will release stress and body tension and bring your brain into a calm and meditative state. Relax your body and mind and recover your center to ground your energy. 

Tai Chi and Ki gong ( TNK )

Tai Chi & Ki Gong combines slow, deliberate movements, meditation, and breathing exercises to help your circulation, balance, and alignment while restoring energy. This is a very low-impact exercise with amazing benefits.

Yoga and Ki-gong ( YNK )

This class is a combination of the regular class with a focus on Ki-gong for those who want to get the best of both worlds. You will get your mind and body feeling free and centered as Ki-gong is a powerful training, which helps with energy accumulation, focus, and relaxation.
