Bloomingdale Body & Brain presents HEALTHIER TOGETHER, a national wellness campaign that highlights a specific health issue and provides holistic solutions through an informative and dynamic workshop series. 

Join us on AUG 30 th, at 10 am. for a workshop event featuring this month's topic: Immunity Boost. We will discuss principles and exercises to boost your immune system as well as tips to incorporate the Solar Body Method for your health, happiness, and peace.     Bowing is one of the most humble and spiritual acts a human can perform. Through bowing, we accept, understand and feel our Soul. Moreover, through this action, we cast aside the narrow confines of the self and accept the energy of the universe. It is a “sincerity meditation,” which we awaken to the nature of sincerity in the process of bowing. We are connected to the energy of Heaven when we spread our arms. We are connected with the energy of Earth when we bend at the waist and lay our upper bodies of the floor. In this 45 min. class we will do 103 sincere bows.

    Wooden Pillow Meditation

    Venue : Body & Brain yoga nomal Center
    Bring your wooden pillow if you have one already! If you do not have a wooden pillow we have some that you can borrow to try it out. Come experience this amazing acupressure massage class that uses the wooden pillow to open up your energy points throughout your body in a surprisingly relaxing manner. The wooden pillow is the best tool to not only help relax and unwind after your day but to help reduce hypertension, neck pain and many other ailments. There is a limited supply of wooden pillows to borrow, so if you have one, please bring yours. Thank you!

This class focuses on exercising your intestines, to encourage increased blood and energy circulation and improved elimination of waste and toxins from the body.
Tai Chi09:00-10:00Tai Chi:In Tai-Chi, you will learn how to feel and utilize the Ki /Chi (life force) energy. With slow and graceful movements, you will release your stress and recharge your body with fresh energy.
Energy Meditation10:00-11:00Energy Meditation:Meditation class develops body awareness and ability to relax, their level of concentration deepens. Our meditation accelerates this process by shifting the focus away from busy thoughts to the physical sensations of the body.
Basic Yoga09:00-10:00Basic Yoga:Regular Dahn Yoga class includes stretching, breathing exercise and meditation. It is geared for all levels, easy for beginners to follow and challenging enough for the advanced practitioner.
