One of Body & Brain Yoga’s key energy principles emphasizes the relationship between the mind and energy. Shim Ki Hyul Jung is a Korean phrase that means “Where the mind goes, energy follows.” It starts with learning to focus your mind on your lower abdomen--the core, the absolute center of your body--which maximizes one’s concentration on the body and therefore the overall effectiveness of each exercise. Many scientific studies have shown that how you think about and focus on your own body can contribute to its healing.
