Throughout May we will be offering additional classes:  Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30pm.  We hope this will suit more people working in The Woodlands, and enable you to catch a class before going home for the evening.  Schedule and Intro or Trial Class on- or call 281 292 2900.  We look forward to seeing you!

Arrive a few minutes earlier for registration. No mats or special cothing required. Just come in comfortable clothes or change here.     Brain Education Teaching Workshop (Sat 7/18 10a-5p, Sun 7/19 9a-5p)

    Venue : Body & Brain yoga nomal Center
    We will be holding a 2-day Brain Education Teaching Workshop for teachers, parents, grandparents, childcarers on Saturday/Sunday Jul 18/19 at the Champion Center. Learn how to teach the 15 session curriculum to children - a great program to help children improve focus, self-esteem, self-confidence, motivation, become happier and more balanced as well as develop greater physical flexibility and stamina. No yoga or BE experience or any membership required, just a desire to help children, so tell your friends and family members who might be interested. It's very rewarding and a lot of fun. The wonderful Power Brain Education instructor Alina will be coming to Texas to teach this program. It is TEA approved for 16 CPUs. Fee is $395. One of The Woodlands' Body & Brain members went to an earlier workshop. Here's her sharing: "The workshop was great, helpful and fun. It helped me understand more about Brain Education and I strongly recommend it to anyone who works with children. It also helped me to understand my own limitations and preconceptions and how to overcome them. Only when we understand how to change ourselves can we teach others how to change." Let's help children get a better start by using their brains well so they can become Power Brains!!

MORNING SESSIONS:
Core Strengthening09:30-10:40Core Strengthening:Intestine Exercise class. In the human body, many toxins accumulate in the intestines, which can affect all other internal organs. This class focuses on exercising your intestines, to encourage increased blood and energy circulation and improved elimination of waste and toxins from the body.
Meridian Stretching09:30-10:40Meridian Stretching:Deep stretching, twisting, and joint rotation exercises to improve circulation and alignment. These exercises stimulate the body’s energy pathways, called meridians.
Energy Movement09:30-10:40Energy Movement:Vibration Class. Vibration is an effective way to release stress and stagnant energy from your body. Vibration also stimulates blood and energy circulation throughout the body, recharging it with fresh energy.
Open Class10:30-11:40Open Class:Open Class! Family and friends welcome! Since these classes are not always held regularly, please call in advance to confirm attendance and class availability/schedule.
AFTERNOON SESSIONS:
Basic Yoga12:00-01:10Basic Yoga:Regular Dahn Yoga class includes stretching, breathing exercise and meditation. It is geared for all levels, easy for beginners to follow and challenging enough for the advanced practitioner.
Tai Chi12:00-01:10Tai Chi:In Tai-Chi, you will learn how to feel and utilize the Ki /Chi (life force) energy. With slow and graceful movements, you will release your stress and recharge your body with fresh energy.
Energy Meditation04:00-05:00Energy Meditation:Meditation class develops body awareness and ability to relax, their level of concentration deepens. Our meditation accelerates this process by shifting the focus away from busy thoughts to the physical sensations of the body.
