Back pain due to slip disc and constant stress

I joined Dahn Yoga about 3 months back. It was my 3rd occurance of slip disc pain which had me in bed for a week. I decided to take my health more seriously and start taking care of myself. When I joined the class I could not bend, could not lift a gallon of milk or more than 5lbs, my feet would be swollen all the time and basically I had no strength or energy. After 2 weeks of continous yoga class I feel so much relief. I am pain free, have more energy and feel much more happy. I am on the road to self transformation, to be stress free, to take care of myself, love myself and enjoy life. Its about time I think of myself first. The road is long and my journey has started. Sleeping through the night

Physical healing and finding the real me

I have done some beginning yoga workshops and have also had a lot of therapy in my life, but Dahn Yoga is different. In April, after just two months of taking Dahn Yoga, my neurologist was so pleased with my progress that he told me I could drop my bi-weekly physical therapy and just continue with yoga and aqua-exercise. I still wear a foot brace, but I am able to garden and do normal work.
