The Body & Brain Leadership Camp was held November 15-18th, 2018 at the ECO Learning Center in Cottonwood, AZ.
Participants came from all over the country. Some had taken Body & Brain classes for many years, others had only experienced a few classes prior to the retreat. But all were united by an interest in becoming leaders whose power is rooted in the connection with their true selves.
“I learned a lot about Tai Chi and the importance of the mind and body connection. This retreat was amazing because it came at a time where I’m struggling with my purpose and physical & mental health symptoms. So, it was really cool to have this time to focus on myself and learn more about myself and what I feel like my true purpose in life is...”
The Leadership Camp provided many opportunities to explore and strengthen the mind-body connection through physical training, meditation, partner sharing, and even sustainable farming and living in ‘tiny houses.’
“I gained more knowledge and willingness to pursue my dreams while giving back to the earth that so desperately needs our help...”
For over 20 years, Body & Brain Centers have provided workshops and retreats emphasizing the importance of ‘self-leadership’ in developing the power to help the world.
Self-leadership means recognizing that we all have a variety of desires and attachments inside, but it’s up to us to decide what will be our primary identity and purpose. The Body & Brain Leadership Camp is a 4-day, 3-night program that lets even first-time practitioners experience some of the deeper aspects of Body & Brain training.
If you’re interested in participating in the next Body & Brain Leadership Camp, mark your calendar for May 23rd-26th, 2019. You don’t need to be a member of a Body & Brain center to attend, although some experience with Body & Brain training would be useful. The cost is $460 and includes room and board. Meals are provided by Chef Momo of Momo's Kitchen - a specialist in holistic Korean inspired cuisine.
