We're not only starting a new year, but a new decade. Hopeful resolutions are on everyone’s mind. If you're like a lot of us, you might have resolutions to become more financially responsible or to spend less time on your phone. Or you may want to incorporate more mindfulness into your life or try a new exercise program.

Why do we set resolutions?

We set resolutions so that we can become better versions of ourselves. When beginning a new year, we’re often full of motivation and determination. We get excited about the results we envision. Within a few weeks, however, our resolutions can begin to fall apart. Soon enough we find ourselves stuck in the same old routines as before. Does this sound familiar to you?

Change things up

This year, instead of resolutions, try changing things up by setting “self-care intentions”. Resolution can seem rigid and burdensome. Self-care intentions should naturally draw your mind towards the benefits of a healthy and sustainable lifestyle, helping you to stay positive and motivated.

This year, try Body & Brain!

When the person you refer signs up for their own membership (minimum of $75), you’ll both receive a $25 discount towards your next membership, upgrade, or private session (valid for up to 90 days after the referred person signs up). This a great way to get more bang for your buck. After that, if your friend refers someone else for a new membership (minimum $75, within 30 days after your friend signs up), your friend will receive a free 30-minute private session or gift certificate for one week of regular classes.

Yoga classes and other group activities are a great way to create a sense of unity and camaraderie with your friends and family. This year, create new memories and stronger relationships as you take action for a healthier, happier new decade. Bring a friend and create a great new year together!
