CLASSES OFFERED AT BODY & BRAIN YOGA TAI CHI

Each of our 1-hour classes combines elements from a variety of Eastern practices to enhance your physical, mental and spiritual health. Body & Brain maximizes the benefits from your physical exercise by developing your ability to use mindful breathing and relaxed concentration.

 

 

Private Introductory Session NEW STUDENTS ONLY

As you begin your Body & Brain practice it helps to receive a basic checkup to better understand your starting condition. During the Private Introductory Session, our trained instructor will work with you to gain an appreciation of your specific physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs. This one-time class is designed to help you get off to the best possible start with your Body & Brain practice.
 

Private Introductory Session + Trial Class NEW STUDENTS ONLY

If you’re ready, start with a Private Introductory Session + Trial Class. You’ll get to experience Body & Brain practice and feel how our group classes are unique. Members often share that a Body & Brain class allows them to feel comfortable and connected to the people around them, in addition to providing a quality mind- body workout. Following each class, we offer an optional, complimentary tea time and the chance to share about your class experience with your fellow members. In addition to the group class you’ll also receive individual guidance from our instructor on how to best utilize Body & Brain practice to achieve your goals.
 

Body & Brain Yoga

Develop your strength, flexibility, breathing, and energy with our Body & Brain yoga classes. You may notice that our yoga classes offer a variety of exercises and poses, helping to keep your practice fun and dynamic while consistently covering the basics. Each Body & Brain yoga class not only trains your body but helps center your awareness inside yourself. Through our signature breathing postures you can accumulate energy and strengthen your core, leaving you feeling recharged, relaxed, and refreshed.
 

Body & Brain Tai Chi and Qigong

Body & Brain tai chi and qigong classes incorporate a form of healing martial arts known as DahnMuDo. What is DahnMuDo? Literally, it means “the art of being limitless.” DahnMuDo is derived from traditional Korean qigong and martial arts forms designed to open the flow of energy in your body for physical and mental health.
 

Body & Brain Meditation

Body & Brain practice offers powerful guided meditation techniques to help you develop the sense of energy in your body and peace in your mind. Whether beginning or experienced with meditation, many people notice that their ability to meditate deepens through our classes. We offer clear and powerful meditation techniques that help you develop the ability to relax and focus on energy sensations, bringing your mind into a state of peace and centeredness.
 

Body & Brain Breathwork

Breathwork is said to be the foundation of true progress in the mind-body practice, affecting every aspect of our being. Our unique system of breathing postures can add transformative power and depth to your mind-body practice by teaching you to accumulate energy.
