Anita Ahn
Anita Ahn is now the regional manager of Colorado Body & Brain Yoga/Tai Chi Branches and center manager of Lakewood center. She has been the Director of the EarthMind Wellness Center at Honor’s Haven Resort & Spa and Sedona Mago Retreat Center. She also has been a master healer, teacher and workshop trainer for nearly two decades. The daughter of an Oriental doctor, Anita pursued a career as a Registered Nurse of Neurology before becoming a master in Yoga & Tai Chi/Qigong based on traditional Korean energy training. It is this background that has provided her with a harmonious blend of clinical experience and “home remedy wisdom”.

Anita has spent the last 23 years in Hawaii, Arizona, California, Oregon, Manhattan NY, Maryland guiding individuals in their discovery and awakening of their own personal healing powers.

Anita Ahn is conducting Group Yoga, Tai Chi, Meditation Classes, Private Holistic Healing Practice and Chakra workshops, Holistic Health Workshops to guide people how to cultivate natural healing power through realignment of the body/Mind connection and awakening the Chakra system. She also trains people to be able to provide energy & chakra healing, organ detox healing and mind/alignment healing.
GiJeuk (Christie) Jensen
GiJeuk is her spiritual name meaning "Blessed Miracle!" Given to her by her teacher. For her, it is truly a miracle to be alive in this time and place and when she met Body & Brain Yoga/Tai Chi about 9 years ago, her awakening was also like a miracle. She has great passion to share her awakening through deep healing experiences with many people. She has been teaching with Body & Brain Yoga/Tai Chi Health Centers for 8 years in the Seattle, WA and Denver, CO area. Recently she has moved to the Lakewood branch where she provides Yoga, Tai Chi, Organ Detox, Chakra breathing and healing, Brain Education and Guided Meditation. She is excited to start her new journey in a new community.
Group Class theme descriptions

Our unlimited group class membership gives you full access to try any of our group class themes throughout the week (deep stretching/core exercises/Tai Chi-Kigong). The class themese are described below (classes are BEGINNER FRIENDLY):

Monday classes:: Core Exercises + Simple, deep meridian stretching 

Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday classes: Our regular meridian stretch class = 30 minutes of simple, organic like stretching  + 10 minutes of breathing postures designed to strengthen core and deepen breathing from core + 10 minutes of moving meditations + 10 final stretching

Wednesday classes: Tai Chi/Kigong - slow, graceful energy movement that allows you to slow your mind down to get centered, more focused, more balanced and refreshed.

Friday classes: called Vibration class - this class allows you to freely move your body  in more a rythmic, fun  way - more cardio

Body & Brain Yoga (All levels) ( BBY )

Body & Brain Yoga's regular classes are great for all levels and ages! Each class has effective and dynamic components of stretching, breathing, and meditation to destress, strengthen, and relax the mind and body. You will definitely feel refreshed and energized even after just one fun session guided by our experienced instructors!


Core Strengthening ( COR )

Core Strengthening class emphasizes our inner abdominal muscles related to supporting the flexibility and strength of our organs, hips, the breathing diaphragm, and back. In this class, we combine Belly Button Healing, Intestinal (Abdominal) Exercises with Meridian Stretches and Core Energy Breathing postures to increase circulation to help strengthen our immune system and improve our gut health. This class includes deep stretching, core breathing, relaxation and meditation for chakra health and balance.

Energy Movement ( VIB )

With rhythmic energy movement, this class creates vibrations in the body to rebalance the energy of the brain. This class will include Dahn Mu (moving energy meditation), tapping, vibration, dancing, breathing, and meditation. Through rhythm and sound, you will release stress and body tension and bring your brain into a calm and meditative state. Relax your body and mind and recover your center to ground your energy. 

Tai Chi ( TAI )

Tai Chi incorporates slow, deliberate movements, meditation, and breathing exercises to help your circulation, balance, and alignment while restoring energy. This is a low-impact martial art with amazing benefits.
