Johnathan Martinez

With a foundation deeply rooted in martial arts, athletics, dance, poetry, art, music and a multitude of philosophic inquiry, Jonathan brings forth a broad spectrum of knowledge to our community. His experience has developed an unwavering grasp of energetic principles and an inherent understanding of the human design. He has done lectures at local colleges, assisted in the expansion of NYC public school programs for Brain Education character development, at District 7 in the Bronx, for at-risk students. His passion to heal himself, and his community is what drives him daily to make sure all members are healthy, and happy.

Bama Kim has been practicing Body & Brain Yoga for over 19 years. Through her experience, Bama has helped countless people discover the latent power within themselves to heal their mind, body, and spirit, and to strive to reach their greatest potential. She has a natural ability to find the root cause of her clients' issues in order to help them change their habits, to manage their stress, and create a healthier, happier and more peaceful life. She helped many kinds of illness and disease patients through her innate healing power and mentoring such as brain tumor, cancers, stroke, psychological and mental issues, addictions, relationship and so on.
Also, she helps many CEOs and leaders for their self-management, leadership and mentoring others.

Bama Kim also wore many hats in her years with Body & Brain such as a Worksite Wellness Program Director, teaching outreach classes for businesses, and was the national Director of the Body & Brain Center franchise companies. Through her combination of practical and spiritual guidance, many managers of Body & Brain Centers around the country have thrived.
DaeHan Kim
Daehan has been practicing and teaching BNB Yoga and holistic healing for over 16 years. He has taught brain education to children for nearly a decade. With his dedicated passion to helping adults and children, he brings forth an atmosphere of focused, yet fun, training. Daehan is known for his active contribution through outreach classes and to the community through free lectures in parks, businesses, and recreation centers. He is a Gut Health promoter, allowing all people to experience an easy, fun and effective way to heal one’s mind and body.
Susan Tom
RN: Master’s degree in both Nursing and Experiential Health and Healing Certificates in Integrative Health Coaching, Holistic Stress Management, Sun Institute Healer School, Yoga Therapy and Reiki III. Susan, as a compassionate and caring nurse, was always looking for new ways to help her patients better manage their stress and emotional and physical discomfort. Early in her career she started to apply mind-body therapies with remarkable success. To expand her knowledge further, she enrolled in a program devoted to learning about all of the integrative health modalities and discovered that they all identified the energy system within us all as an essential component of healing and well-being. Her continued interest in energy and ancient Eastern healing practices led her to Body and Brain Yoga & Taichi where she found relief from her chronic migraine headaches and was able to deepen her understanding of the human energy system and mind-body connection which she learned from master healers and advanced energy healing trainings.
Body & Brain Yoga (All levels) ( BBY )

Body & Brain Yoga's regular classes are great for all levels and ages! Each class has effective and dynamic components of stretching, breathing, and meditation to destress, strengthen, and relax the mind and body. You will definitely feel refreshed and energized even after just one fun session guided by our experienced instructors!


Core Strengthening ( COR )

Core Strengthening class emphasizes our inner abdominal muscles related to supporting the flexibility and strength of our organs, hips, the breathing diaphragm, and back. In this class, we combine Belly Button Healing, Intestinal (Abdominal) Exercises with Meridian Stretches and Core Energy Breathing postures to increase circulation to help strengthen our immune system and improve our gut health. This class includes deep stretching, core breathing, relaxation and meditation for chakra health and balance.

Energy Movement ( VIB )

With rhythmic energy movement, this class creates vibrations in the body to rebalance the energy of the brain. This class will include Dahn Mu (moving energy meditation), tapping, vibration, dancing, breathing, and meditation. Through rhythm and sound, you will release stress and body tension and bring your brain into a calm and meditative state. Relax your body and mind and recover your center to ground your energy. 

Tai Chi ( TAI )

Tai Chi incorporates slow, deliberate movements, meditation, and breathing exercises to help your circulation, balance, and alignment while restoring energy. This is a low-impact martial art with amazing benefits.
