Our mission at Body & Brain is to empower individuals by activating the brain and gut brain's, natural ability to create health and happiness. The best way to start learning and practicing Body & Brain is to book a 1-on-1 Introductory Session.

One of our trained instructors will work with you to check your flexibility, balance, breathing,and stress levels and provide 1-on-1 guidance on how best to utilize our exercises and programs.

DaeHan has been practicing and teaching BNB Yoga and holistic healing for over 16 years. He has taught brain education to children for nearly a decade. With his dedicated passion to helping adults and children, he brings forth an atmosphere of focused, yet fun, training. Daehan is known for his active contribution through outreach classes and to the community through free lectures in parks, businesses, and recreation centers. He is a Gut Health promoter, allowing all people to experience an easy, fun and effective way to heal one’s mind and body.
Marlene Stefanelli
Marlene has been at the New City Body & Brain Center for the last 5 1/2 years. She began as a Body & Brain Yoga member for eight years, Marlene experienced firsthand the rewarding benefits of healing and Brain Education. Through her own healing journey, she was able to discover the power that she held inside of her, along with her amazing potential to share and help others. Her healing abilities, coupled with her experience of teaching for twenty-five years, enables her to truly help those with physical problems which are similar to her own. After taking Healer School and the Brain Education Instructor Course for Children and Successful Aging, all of her hard work and dedication resulted in her becoming a Body & Brain Yoga instructor and Center Manager. From all of these experiences, she realized that her calling is to share the benefits that she received with many people.

Bama Kim has been practicing Body & Brain Yoga for over 17 years. Through her experience Bama has helped countless people discover the latent power within themselves to heal their mind, body and spirit, and to strive to reach their greatest potential.

Bama Kim has a natural ability to find the root cause of her clients' issues in order to help them change their habits, to manage their stress, and create a healthier, happier and more peaceful life. One of the most miraculous stories of Bama's healing history is that she helped a senior woman to completely cure her malignant brain tumor. Through powerful energy healing and positive mind training, Bama guided the woman to miraculously heal her own tumor down to nothing.

Bama Kim also wore many hats in her years with Body & Brain. She was a national trainer for DahnMuDo, a healing Qigong/Tai Chi/Energy Martial Arts training for realigning the body structure and improving overall internal blood and energy circulation to naturally heal the joints, bones and to connect the body, mind and spirit. She is also a trainer for the Finding Your True Self Workshop, which helps participants get in touch with their deepest inner self and their passion and dream i for their life.

Bama is also a Worksite Wellness Program Director, teaching outreach classes for businesses, and was the national Director of the Body & Brain Center franchise companies. Through her combination of practical and spiritual guidance, many managers of Body & Brain Centers around the country have thrived.
What Can I Expect in Class??
At Body & Brain we believe that your body holds all answers. We encourage our practitioners to trust their body’s innate wisdom and therefore do not require a high degree of flexibility, balance, or strength to follow our basic exercises. Our classes accommodate people of ALL ages, body types, and fitness levels to participate comfortably at their own pace.

Our classes vary throughout the week and by each center. A basic class includes deep meridian stretching, core strengthening, meditation, and refreshing cool-down.  Come dressed in your uniform or loose comfortable clothing (black, white or earth-toned colors preferred) and a pair of socks.

Each class lasts about 70 minutes plus tea time.

Body & Brain Yoga (All levels) ( BBY )

Body & Brain Yoga's regular classes are great for all levels and ages! Each class has effective and dynamic components of stretching, breathing, and meditation to destress, strengthen, and relax the mind and body. You will definitely feel refreshed and energized even after just one fun session guided by our experienced instructors!


Core Strengthening ( COR )

Core Strengthening class emphasizes our inner abdominal muscles related to supporting the flexibility and strength of our organs, hips, the breathing diaphragm, and back. In this class, we combine Belly Button Healing, Intestinal (Abdominal) Exercises with Meridian Stretches and Core Energy Breathing postures to increase circulation to help strengthen our immune system and improve our gut health. This class includes deep stretching, core breathing, relaxation and meditation for chakra health and balance.

Energy Movement ( VIB )

With rhythmic energy movement, this class creates vibrations in the body to rebalance the energy of the brain. This class will include Dahn Mu (moving energy meditation), tapping, vibration, dancing, breathing, and meditation. Through rhythm and sound, you will release stress and body tension and bring your brain into a calm and meditative state. Relax your body and mind and recover your center to ground your energy. 

Tai Chi ( TAI )

Tai Chi incorporates slow, deliberate movements, meditation, and breathing exercises to help your circulation, balance, and alignment while restoring energy. This is a low-impact martial art with amazing benefits.

Tai Chi and Ki gong ( TNK )

Tai Chi & Ki Gong combines slow, deliberate movements, meditation, and breathing exercises to help your circulation, balance, and alignment while restoring energy. This is a very low-impact exercise with amazing benefits.
