ABOUT AIEA CENTER
Aiea Body and Brain Yoga Tai Chi

Join us on the 2nd floor of the back building behind the old Aiea library. No yoga mat is needed here since we have comfortable padded floors that keep impact at a minimum. Ideal for all ages, our movements are gentle enough for those who have limited flexibility. You'll feel the difference after one class. Regular practice will lead to improved concentration and focus, better quality sleep, and overall increased energy. Try us today!

Instructors
Master Charles
Master Charles has been practicing Body and Brain Yoga for 23 years. He managed centers in Korea and Japan before coming to the US. His passion is to help people who want to be healthy, happy, and peaceful. He will do his best to help you create a better life.
Karen Hirai
Karen has been a Body and Brain instructor for one year. She started training after meeting Body and Brain at an expo four years ago. Upon entering the Aiea center, she immediately felt the calm and peaceful energy. Through Body and Brain's training, she has gained flexibility, strength, confidence, and is able to create a more balanced lifestyle. With simple stretching and breathing postures, she was able to overcome a rotator cuff problem, needing no physical therapy. Her dream is for Hawaii to become a place where everyone can live in peace and harmony.

Feel the Difference

Our classes are designed to help you connect your mind and body. We offer gentle, natural stretching that's designed to open up energy channels called meridians. Pain and tension is caused when energy and circulation cannot flow. We help you move your body to loosen those energy blocks. In addition to stretching, you get guided breathing and meditation to help your brain and body relax, and heal from the inside. 

Body & Brain Yoga (All levels) ( BBY )

Body & Brain Yoga's regular classes are great for all levels and ages! Each class has effective and dynamic components of stretching, breathing, and meditation to destress, strengthen, and relax the mind and body. You will definitely feel refreshed and energized even after just one fun session guided by our experienced instructors!

 

Energy Movement ( VIB )

With rhythmic energy movement, this class creates vibrations in the body to rebalance the energy of the brain. This class will include Dahn Mu (moving energy meditation), tapping, vibration, dancing, breathing, and meditation. Through rhythm and sound, you will release stress and body tension and bring your brain into a calm and meditative state. Relax your body and mind and recover your center to ground your energy.

Tai Chi and Ki gong ( TNK )

Tai Chi & Ki Gong combines slow, deliberate movements, meditation, and breathing exercises to help your circulation, balance, and alignment while restoring energy. This is a very low-impact exercise with amazing benefits.
