Instructors
Brian Korbelik
Brian started teaching Body & Brain Yoga and Tai-Chi more than eight years ago and has a lot of passion to help individuals realize their true potential and be the creators of their own health and happiness. Originally, Brian started Body & Brain Yoga as a member in 2008. He quickly came to realize the benefits it had for helping him naturally manage his stress and anxiety. Because of the benefits he received, he decided to change his career path and become a Body & Brain teacher full time. Brian looks forward to helping many more people become good managers of their bodies, minds, and lives.
Terri Kang
Terri has been practicing Body & Brain Yoga since 1993 and teaching since 2003. Terri had always seen herself as a yoga, meditation and body & brain trainer but never considered herself a healer. On October 18, 2017, her father passed away. Before he passed, she was able to connect with his soul and communicate through eye contact, since her father could no longer communicate verbally. This experience along with her yoga practice changed her life and how she saw herself. After becoming an instructor at Body & Brain Yoga, Terri was able to see herself as a healer. She is grateful for her vision partners and all the members she sees on a daily basis. Terri is passionate about healing humanity and caring for mother earth.
Marti Bay
Marti Bay has been a member of Body & Brain Yoga since 2001. Marti has been actively studying and practicing the healing arts for over forty years and is currently teaching Tai Chi outreach programs in senior retirement and assisted living centers in Arizona. Her healing training includes Massage Therapy, Polarity Therapy, Reiki and Body & Brain therapies along with Tai Chi and Yoga. Marti became a Body & Brain Master in 2013. Her mind and heart are devoted to helping others heal their bodies, minds and souls.
Brian Stevens
Brian Stevens works for Body and Brain Yoga and Tai Chi, and is a part time instructor. He has been a member since 2013 and has taken several advanced trainings, using the principles of healing, inner peace, and self-growth in his life. As an instructor, he is dedicated to delivering these same principles to others. Brian has been a long time classroom teacher and since 2017, is transitioning from school teacher to yoga and Tai Chi teacher. He teaches classes in the yoga center and outreach classes outside the center, assisting others in aspiring to their full potential, peace, and optimal health.
Rosa Soto
Rosa is a part time instructor with Body & Brain Yoga and Tai-Chi.  She started as a member in 2014 and has been teaching since 2016.  As a member Rosa experienced several awakenings that led her to the path of teaching at Body & Brain Yoga.  She has personally seen the application of the laws & principles that are taught at Body & Brain Yoga in her personal life and she has seen the benefits in improving relationships, contributing to her community and living a harmonious life.  She is dedicated and focused in helping others achieve the same benefits of health, welfare and peace of mind.
WHAT WE OFFER
Body & Brain Yoga (All levels) ( BBY )

Body & Brain Yoga's regular classes are great for all levels and ages! Each class has effective and dynamic components of stretching, breathing, and meditation to destress, strengthen, and relax the mind and body. You will definitely feel refreshed and energized even after just one fun session guided by our experienced instructors!

 

Core Strengthening ( COR )

Core Strengthening class emphasizes our inner abdominal muscles related to supporting the flexibility and strength of our organs, hips, the breathing diaphragm, and back. In this class, we combine Belly Button Healing, Intestinal (Abdominal) Exercises with Meridian Stretches and Core Energy Breathing postures to increase circulation to help strengthen our immune system and improve our gut health. This class includes deep stretching, core breathing, relaxation and meditation for chakra health and balance.

Energy Movement ( VIB )

With rhythmic energy movement, this class creates vibrations in the body to rebalance the energy of the brain. This class will include Dahn Mu (moving energy meditation), tapping, vibration, dancing, breathing, and meditation. Through rhythm and sound, you will release stress and body tension and bring your brain into a calm and meditative state. Relax your body and mind and recover your center to ground your energy. 

Tai Chi ( TAI )

Tai Chi incorporates slow, deliberate movements, meditation, and breathing exercises to help your circulation, balance, and alignment while restoring energy. This is a low-impact martial art with amazing benefits.
