Westmont Body & Brain Center

Body & Brain is a national leader in holistic health and wellness. Our classes in yoga, tai chi, meditation, detoxification, and rhythmic movement combine East Asian healing and energy philosophies. A person is considered healthy only if one has health of mind, body, and spirit—which is why our exercises, workshops, and programs focus on opening the mind and heart as well as healing the body. Our practice utilizes a 5-step energy practice to activate the brain through a deep mind-body connection. By developing your capacity to feel energy, you can quiet your mind to experience peace with the flow of life to unleash profound personal growth.

We offer a wide variety of classes which involve breathing techniques, meridian stretching, core-strengthening, and energy circulation & accumulation. All classes are geared towards whole-person care, and all ages and levels are welcome.

Iqbal "Sumunjang" Singh
Sumunjang graduated from High School with 4.0 G.P.A. Everything in his life, was going according to the plan. Til' he had lost loved ones. Not knowing how to deal with his new emotions, he suffered insomnia at a great deal. As he seek for medical help, his condition got worse. At last he tried something he never thought of. Body & Brain, a training consist of Tai-chi, Stretching, Breathing, and Meditation. Within 1 month of training, he started sleeping like a baby. As he trained further, he felt empowered physically, emotionally and mentally. Now it has been 7 Years, since his journey towards natural healthy lifestyle. Singh is determined to share his know how's as center manager of Body & Brain in Westmont, IL.
Jolanta Samoska
Jolanta at 24 started successful restaurant business. Her world was around her husband and two amazing sons, Imantas and Simonas. Her older son Imantas joined Army at 17. At age of 20, he lost his life while on duty. That turned her whole life upside down. She and her family suffered depression for 7-9 years. Though she was physically active her whole life nothing helped. Due to her mind running all the time, she started doing private sessions with Body & Brain trainer. Next she took Finding True Self workshop, where she was able to heal herself and let go of the grief. From then on she devoted herself to help many people as she can including her family/friends at Body & Brain, Westmont IL.

Body & Brain Yoga (All levels) ( BBY )

Body & Brain Yoga's regular classes are great for all levels and ages! Each class has effective and dynamic components of stretching, breathing, and meditation to destress, strengthen, and relax the mind and body. You will definitely feel refreshed and energized even after just one fun session guided by our experienced instructors!


Core Strengthening ( COR )

Core Strengthening class emphasizes our inner abdominal muscles related to supporting the flexibility and strength of our organs, hips, the breathing diaphragm, and back. In this class, we combine Belly Button Healing, Intestinal (Abdominal) Exercises with Meridian Stretches and Core Energy Breathing postures to increase circulation to help strengthen our immune system and improve our gut health. This class includes deep stretching, core breathing, relaxation and meditation for chakra health and balance.

Energy Movement ( VIB )

With rhythmic energy movement, this class creates vibrations in the body to rebalance the energy of the brain. This class will include Dahn Mu (moving energy meditation), tapping, vibration, dancing, breathing, and meditation. Through rhythm and sound, you will release stress and body tension and bring your brain into a calm and meditative state. Relax your body and mind and recover your center to ground your energy. 

Tai Chi and Ki gong ( TNK )

Tai Chi & Ki Gong combines slow, deliberate movements, meditation, and breathing exercises to help your circulation, balance, and alignment while restoring energy. This is a very low-impact exercise with amazing benefits.
