Mastership can be an inherently challenging concept, made more difficult by cultural baggage associated with the word “master.”

True mastership is necessarily inward-focused, the struggle to transcend our egotistical mind. False mastership is outward-focused, seeking to control others.

Dahn Master Course

The Dahn Master Course (DMC) provides a chance for Body & Brain practitioners to embrace the deepest levels of true mastership by connecting their personal practice with a mission bigger than themselves.

Perhaps one of the most rewarding aspects of mastership is the practice of surrender. We might think a "master" wouldn't have to listen to anyone or anything, right?

In fact, many enlightened teachers suggest that a true master is someone with the humility and strength to follow, and the wisdom to know when to choose a purpose beyond their personal preferences. DMC provides an opportunity for those who want to practice mastership through Body & Brain.

Having a spiritual teacher and community helps practitioners take personal awakenings and apply them in daily life. Although the step of moving beyond practice time, or making daily life a form of practice, can be challenging, it is also incredibly rewarding.; When spiritual practice informs our relationships, our work, and our habits, it takes on a new depth and meaning. And even though there are moments when it may seem more comfortable and efficient to be “on our own,” sharing and interacting with others can help us observe ourselves and our behaviors more objectively. As Ilchi Lee says, an enlightenment which cannot be shared is not valuable. DMC allows participants the chance to apply and share enlightenment in daily life, based on the power of choice.

DMC Graduate Sharing

Dahn Master Course (DMC) graduates often express amazement at the conviction, connection, and power they feel after this program. The DMC reveals a broader view of Body & Brain’s vision to create a healthier, happier and more peaceful world. Many DMC graduates realize that Body & Brain's vision is naturally aligned with their own personal vision... Here's their sharing:

I came to DMC to get back to my origin, my true home. I came to learn how to be back with nature. Now I know that it’s completely up to me. I am already part of enlightened nature but I couldn’t see it or find it before. Now I know that I can just accept it, connect to it, and open it.
- SungOk Kim (Westchester)

I was just aware how it was helping me. All my life I have been on a quest to find my purpose and help others… After, the training has enabled me to put more pieces of the puzzle together. I can see more clearly my role in the vision, how ki energy can be used to heal myself and others. Choosing the path is the difference between wandering, searching or completing my soul.
- Debra Egan (Oceanside)

I’m now clear I have a choice in my life and the direction I want to go. I learned that if I choose from pure consciousness and act without hesitation I have infinite power... I am more confident and I now can see my value. So the only thing left for me to do is choose it over and over again.
