I found Body & Brain Yoga when I was searching for Yoga studios near my job. I had recently been promoted at work, a move that pushed me out of my comfort zone and upped my stress levels exponentially. I knew I had to do something good for myself to keep from burning out. I have done boot camps and high-intensity workouts in the past but this time I needed something different for my frazzled nerves.What made me choose Body & Brain over a traditional Yoga studio (besides the interesting name) were the classes. It was the first time that I had ever seen balancing energy mentioned in a class description and I instantly felt like, yes, that is for me, that is exactly what I've been searching for. I signed up online to try a class sight unseen, having not a clue as to what it would be like. And I am so glad I did.The space is a sanctuary of good vibes. The Masters are amazing, no words on a screen could do them justice, you just have to meet them. The members are equally amazing, and as another reviewer mentioned, there is a lot of diversity among the members which are a major plus for me as well.
I have been going for about two months now and it's become more than a class that I go to for exercise or stress relief, it's become a lifestyle. And as I am getting to know everyone it's like a family as well.
I am definitely less stressed, more in tune with my body, and overall a lot happier than I was when I started. So grateful for this experience.
