Improved Flexibility and Strength

I have been practicing a variety of yoga and meditation for more than 20 years and have been a member of Henderson Body & Brain Yoga since 2015. Upon moving to Nevada, I was looking for a supportive yoga practice that would provide a full range of options and training for the body, mind, and spirit.

The instructors at Body & Brain Yoga are highly skilled and truly care about providing a supportive environment for attaining each individual's health and wellness goals. I enjoy the variety of classes offered throughout the week and find myself looking forward to each daily class.

I can honestly say that my overall strength and flexibility have improved. In addition to the physical improvement I've experienced, I have also benefited from the challenges to my mind and habits.

Initially, I was self conscious during the Friday "dance" class, but now I find that I enjoy the freedom of experiencing my body's energy response to the rhythm of the music. Practicing plate balancing exercises and tai chi have been both challenging and rewarding. I now find it easier to move my body more freely and my brain has learned some new tricks as well.

I want to express my sincere thanks to Jessica, Erica, Patty, and all of the other instructors I've had the privilege of working with. You've made the journey fun as I develop my Health Body - Happy Heart - Power Brain!
