Body & Brain - Simple Tools for Better Health

To achieve and maintain optimal health in body and mind, we need to practice movement and meditation, daily.  With a holistic approach to health, Body & Brain Yoga and Tai Chi improves flexibility, focus, strength and vitality.  The various classes and programs also provide tools for improving concentration, living mindfully to manage stress and increase longevity whlie creating a more balanced lifestyle.  Our exercises are suitable for all ages and body types.

Our classes consist of the following: 

  • Stretching - Increase flexibility and strength, improve circulation and alignment.
  • Meditation - Learn to relax and shift your focus away from busy thoughts through Brain Wave Vibration and other forms of moving meditation.
  • Breathing Exercises - Deep breathing exercises and postures recharge your body and clear your mind.
  • Energy Accumulation - learn how to accumulate energy for better focus and self healing.

Master Neil of Crystal Lake Illinois - Certified in Tai Chi, Yoga, Holistic Healer in the Ancient Korean style, with over 20 years of experience using the principles of nature to regain our health, happiness and longevity. Licensed Massage Therapist, lecturer and guide to your inner self that will enable you to be your best.
Mary Arevalo
Dedicated to healing the minds, bodies and spirits of humanity.

She has taught for 8 years starting in NYC and now here in Crystal Lake. She also taught students ages 5-17 mindful movement, meditation, and brain healing in NYC public schools and in Mount Prospect. Mary is passionate about healing through movement.
WHAT WE OFFER
Energy Movement ( VIB )

With rhythmic energy movement, this class creates vibrations in the body to rebalance the energy of the brain. This class will include Dahn Mu (moving energy meditation), tapping, vibration, dancing, breathing, and meditation. Through rhythm and sound, you will release stress and body tension and bring your brain into a calm and meditative state. Relax your body and mind and recover your center to ground your energy. 

Tai Chi and Ki gong ( TNK )

Tai Chi & Ki Gong combines slow, deliberate movements, meditation, and breathing exercises to help your circulation, balance, and alignment while restoring energy. This is a very low-impact exercise with amazing benefits.

Yoga and Ki-gong ( YNK )

This class is a combination of the regular class with a focus on Ki-gong for those who want to get the best of both worlds. You will get your mind and body feeling free and centered as Ki-gong is a powerful training, which helps with energy accumulation, focus, and relaxation.
